Hi, I'm Nevica.

From June 2017 - August 2018 I took a year off of posting on social media.
Social media left me drained.

  • I never felt like I was posting enough or growing my following enough
  • I always felt trapped in a comparison game
  • Plus I wasn’t actually booking clients from it

Is this for me? Expand

This is right for you if you're a woman business to business owner (which means you have a business that works with other business owners). If you know who your ideal client is, and if you have an offer (product/service/course/membership/etc.) to sell. It's right for you if you want to increase your sales and grow your audience.

And would like to do that by getting in front of your ideal clients in other people's communities. You'll do this by sharing your knowledge, skills, value, and know-how with that community (for free) which will benefit the leader of that community because they get to share content with their community without creating it. And it will benefit you because you'll be able to get in front of your ideal client, show them how you can help them, and have the trusted recommendation of their community leader, making it more likely that they'll buy from you!

What is a collaboration? What do you mean by collaboration? Expand

I define collaboration as providing value (value = your knowledge in the form of content in most cases) for a community leaders audience (that is filled with your ideal clients) which will in turn get you in front of your ideal clients and promote your business to your ideal clients.

So for there to be a collaboration you need you and your value + a community leader with an audience filled with your ideal clients, and a way to share your knowledge with that community.

Examples of ways you can collaborate

  • Being interviewed on their podcast, writing a guest post for them, writing an email newsletter for them
  • Teaching a live training in their facebook group, on their instagram, or via webinar for their email list
  • Teaching a bonus lesson/masterclass for their course/program
  • And so many more ways!

Collaborations can work as a swap (meaning you get in front of a community leaders audience and they get in front of your audience) or don't have to be swaps (meaning you just get in front of their audience), both work. And in our membership community we'll talk about what your best options are for you!

Why should I spend time on collaborations vs other marketing methods? Expand

A lot of my clients spend their marketing time posting to instagram, or writing content for their blog. Which is great I do believe it's important to have your own platform. But you start every platform at 0 followers/traffic. And going from 0 to a significant number takes a long time if you're just creating content, using hashtags, or seo methods. So you're creating content for a while, it's amazing content, but not many people are actually seeing it, or you just have a stunt in your growth or reaching new people.

The reason collaborations are so valuable is because you can take that same content and get it in front of a community that already has your ideal clients in it. So you're going directly to where your ideal clients are, where they're active, and you're getting a recommendation from the leader of that community. Which means your instagram following will go up, your email subscribers will go up, and you're inquires/sales will go up. Because you're going directly to the people who need you, and sharing value there, with them (instead of just on your platform).

If you've ever had someone tag you in their instagram post/story, you've likely seen the benefits of getting a boost in followers, the same goes if you've been interviewed on someone's podcast, or taught a workshop for their facebook group. Once you know how to create a successful collaboration you can use it grow any and every platform. 

What can I expect from the bi-monthly collaboration challenge? Expand

Every other month we will breakdown one way for you to collaborate with another business owner.

Examples of collaborations we will breakdown are:

  • Being interviewed on their podcast, writing a guest post for them, writing an email newsletter for them
  • Teaching a live training in their facebook group, on their instagram, or via webinar for their email list
  • Teaching a bonus lesson/masterclass for their course/program
  • And more!

So if the challenge for the month is to write a guest email newsletter.
We will breakdown all the steps that you need to take in order to execute a guest newsletter collaboration.

Some of those steps include:

  • Finding the perfect partner for writing a guest email to their audience
  • Building a relationship with them
  • Pitching them the idea of you writing a guest email to their audience
  • What your guest email should include, what topics you should write about
  • How to make the most of your collaboration

Plus, I'll provide you with any tools, templates, and checklist you need to be as simple as possible.

So every month we'll be working together as a group to execute a collaboration and get in front of a new audience. You'll be able to hear from the other members in the group on how their collaboration is going, what's working and what's not working, and we'll all keep each other accountable with weekly check-ins.

How much time will this take/Do I have the time for this? Expand

I estimate that it will take you at least 2 hours per week to get the most out of the community. That time will be spent on your weekly action steps like: researching people to collaborate with, building relationships with people in the community, writing your collaboration pitch, executing your collaboration, and being an active member of the community.

If you need to consistently get in front of your ideal clients, I would say that you can't afford not to have time on this. As a business owner you'll always need to get in front of your ideal clients, to promote and sell your offer. And the goal of this community is to make that as easy and least time consuming as possible by:

  • Connecting you with business owners you can collaborate with within the group
  • Giving you templates, tools, and checklists to execute collaborations (like pitching a guest email opportunity or getting on a podcast)
  • Giving you support, accountability, and feedback you need to never feel stuck and actually get results!

Plus, in my opinion and experience, using your marketing time on collaborations builds your audience faster, and gives you a higher ROI then just posting content on your own platform.
